The Orange County Orchid Society is a non-profit organization affiliated with the American Orchid Society, Orchid Digest, and the California Garden Clubs, Inc. OCOS brings together people from beginners to expert levels and all the stages in between, who love growing orchids and want to know more about how to grow them.

Most monthly meetings feature guest lectures, which may include culture demonstrations and hands-on workshops. In addition, sales of plants are available by many of the Guest speakers, at Members' Sales table or Beginners' table making it easy to increase your orchid collection at very affordable prices. This gives everyone a chance to acquire both common and unusual orchid plants, and some of the newest hybrids on the market.

A brilliant display of orchids of all shapes, sizes and colors can be seen at our meeting from members bringing in their blooming plants for all to see and to compete with each other for best of class. This is a great opportunity to see the wide variety of fabulous orchids that can be grown in Southern California.
